Eyes on Earth: The ISS HD Earth Viewing Experiment

One of the freshest tasks from the ISS is kind of incredible. The High Definition Earth Viewing (HDEV) experiment has four cameras that have been attached outside of the ISS. Though temperature is accurate, the cameras are wide-open to the radiation from the sun, which will let astronauts recognize how radiation disturbs the tools. The experiment is being carried out in combination with High Schools United with NASA to Create Hardware (HUNCH) program that helps as outreach for students. Students contributing in this program also assisted in design some features of the camera.
